Ms. Farley is originally from Lubbock, Texas but attended City University of New York, receiving her B.F.A. degree in music, magna cum laude. She received her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2007. During law school, Ms. Farley served on the Executive Board of the Santa Clara Law Review as the Senior Articles Editor and published her comment in this journal.

Ms. Farley is the assistant secretary of the Estate Planning/Probate Section of the San Mateo County Bar Association and the organizer of the Trusts & Estates New Attorney Roundtable. Ms. Farley is also a member of the State Bar of California, Trusts & Estates Section, and the San Francisco State Bar Association, Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section.
